I am a 22 year-old singer and guitarist from Kings Heath in Birmingham. Although I spend a lot of time there, especially during university holidays, I live in Scotland throughout term-time, as I am now in my fourth year of studying Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, where I am an active member of the folk society.

While I am a self-taught guitarist, I have completed the ABRSM vocal exams up to grade 8 and thoroughly enjoy singing all sorts of music, though my focus for performance is mainly on folk and traditional music.

I was fortunate enough to be selected as a semi-finalist for the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards 2016.

If you would like to hear some examples of the songs I perform, please visit my songs page or my videos page.

My debut album, On a Green Growing Tree, is now out. It is available as a digital download from bandcamp (where it also possible to listen to each track before purchase), or as a physical copy from ebay the Coda music shop, and Captains Bar.

If you would be interested in having me perform for your event please contact me at alice-dillon@outlook.com.
